Basically there is a big, 3/8″ thick sheet of lead under chemical/oil/fuel/sun/heat/etc-proof silicone that is also quite substantial and thick that allows you to bend and malign the thing into pretty much any shape funnel you can conceive of; perfect if you need odd angle drain paths into a bucket or bottle, oil changes are easier and you cannot misplace a huge green sheet of ‘rubber’ since it’ll mold right to the bottom of your floorboard or jeep rear compartment and be there to use every time. This is so helpful as many cars these days have the oil drain plugs on the side instead of the bottom. Or the filter is right on top of a cross-member. So the oil shoots out sideways and gets everywhere or drains onto the cross beams and splatters everywhere. This ingenious product solves those problems and makes Do-it-Yourself fluid changes much cleaner and less messy. I wish I’d thought of this and I wish I could give it 6 stars.
